After staring blankly at this blog for a bit, it hit me like a freshly squeezed citrus fruit to the eye... All this orange is BURNING MY RETINAS!
As such, I will be revamping the site this weekend to correct the issue. Stay tuned! :)

When you are hung over on Tryptophan and bloated from lbs of quasi digested turkey, many people don't would rather sit their ass on the couch rather than wake up before dawn to confront lines that rival those of Star Wars conventions. Fortunately, the internet facilitates our human desire to be lazy. Screw the lines, you can still get some great deals from the comfort of your own home.

Emo Vampires Are All the Rage
The first time I saw the preview for the movie "Twilight" I thought it was just another cheesy run-of-the-mill vampire flick in the vein of the wretched sequels to "Interview with the Vampire". Turns out, it is just another cheesy run-of-the-mill cult phenomenon in the vein of Harry Potter.
OK, before you Twilighters pelt me with garlic and impale me with pointy sticks, I must admit that I have not seen the film nor have I read the source material, so I really can't diss the film (Although the most trusted authority in film doesn't think too highly of it.)
I'm always interested how these (what on the surface appear to be) formulaic stories become such massive pop culture phenomenons. A school of wizards? Teen Vampires? I think R L Stine was writing about this stuff ages ago and I never saw multi-million dollar movie franchises spinning off of them.
Anyway,
If you are an emo vampire, here is a shirt for you:
And for those of you who would rather keep emo vampires as far away from you as possible, here is a nice one that is sure to do the trick:
UPDATE:
ZOMG! A Team Edward Shirt!

Undone the Sweater (Economy) Song
In the prophetic words of Weezer:
If you want to destroy my sweaterThe US economy seems to be made of wool these days. Soon we'll all be naked... Unless we start knitting... and SOON! Knit, bitches, knit!
(I dont want to destroy your tank-top)
Hold this thread as I walk away
(lets be friends and just walk away)
Watch me unravel Ill soon be naked
(hate you see you lyin there in your superman skivvies)
Lying on the floor, Ive come undone
The economy has undergone the biggest drop in 7 years.
While there has yet to be an official determination that the economy is currently in a recession, most economists believe the U.S. is already in one and that the economy is likely to continue to shrink in the fourth quarter and the beginning of 2009.
The economy took a huge hit from a pullback in consumer spending in the quarter. Spending by individuals, rather than businesses or governments, accounts for about 70% of the nation's economic activity and remained strong enough in the most recent recession of 2001 to allow that downturn to be relatively mild.
That's right... THREADLESS IS HAVING ANOTHER SUPER AWESOME HOLIDAY SALE! 5$ dollar tees? Hell yaaaaa!

Real Shirt Talk
This isn't your average tee shirt blog.
The T-shirt was originally conceived to be used as nothing more than an undergarment. Fortunately for the whole of humanity, it soon became a weapon of mass expression.
Ever since the first photos of American soldiers wearing these undergarments as outerwear during WWII were published or when the iconic anti-hero James Dean brought them to prominence on the silver screen, tees have been inextricably entwined with pop culture and current events.
It is this coalescence of news, media, and shirt fashion that will be explored in this blog.
For every breaking news story, there is a corresponding tee. For every pop culture phenomenon, there is a matching shirt. For every mind-numbing meme that pops up on the cyber scene, there is correlating t-shaped garment just waiting to be worn and proudly displayed upon the chests of countless unique individuals.
Let us dispense with the exposition. Let the shirt talking begin.
